This is a guest post by a dear friend Sasi... I had asked him to write a post on parallel universe which was kind of fascinating to me... but guess he changed his mind.. Nevertheless i think this is a perfect post for the time cos i am moving to a place far far away from where my friends live... an i will miss them so much :(
So here you go....
Good Bye, Adieu, Au Revoir, Adios, Alvida, Khuda Hafiz.....different tongues, different origins - but they all mean the same in soul and sphere of feelings. We long to use those words in many an occasion; but on contrary, its the same set we wish we could avoid in a handful of situations that warrant our parting with someone dear & close. Am pretty sure we all had to go through such phase(s) willingly or unwillingly. Letting go of something or someone is one of the toughest things to do, or maybe its just our human nature. Inarguably, we sure are a bundle of emotions and feelings; however strong we project ourselves individually, we all give into the feelings of parting and separation. Do we fear what is in store post-goodbye? Or is it that we attach ourselves so deep that it feels like we are leaving peace or piece of us behind when we say our adieus? Sometimes its good to be so attached, but our dilemma/skepticism of a new phase outweighs those feelings which make farewells all the more tough?

All good things must come to an end they say; instead, if you think end of something (good) is start of something better, you may feel a little better - while time fills the vaccum with things going north or maybe with the same things/people we had to part from crossing our path again. Probably, a perfect example for 'a bend in the road is not the end of the road'.
Everything seems good if we can believe and soak in the fact that nothing in this world/life is permanent except 'change'. Cliched, but true - The faster we adapt the easier it is to get on and get going. Maybe tough to begin with, but sometimes a change is inevitable - be it a person, place, thing or just a passing feeling that we tend to cling onto. Such changes are also good sometimes so we realize the blessings we get used to and take for granted; it gives us a glimpse of what we would have been missing otherwise.
I guess I need to stop before it gets too philosophical.:) So long folks!!
